We are back digging!

So after a cold long winter last weekend we started back in the woods.

Mr Ferry Boat was not happy with me as I changed a lot of the plans again and it meant undoing a lot of his hard work!!! BUT its better to get it right now... To stabilize a wall he had filled 20 tonne bags full of stone and rubble, and this is the bit I want changed. I have decided to level it as best as we can due to the fact its built on a stone mound, which will make a lovely gentle climbing wall for children! It means losing two trees, but we are going to plant more, and different species as all the trees are elm and oak. We lit a fire and cracked on, I got very excited this week too, as I qualified as an outdoor practitioner. I have done my training, gathered a mound of ideas so just need the space to work now! We are aiming to run the 1st workshops at Easter, all being well, at the moment from our tent, as we didn't get the funding needed to build a structure/shelter.
